"Le sfide della diplomazia italiana"
L'evento è organizzato in occasione della pubblicazione del volume "La diplomazia. Strumenti e metodi" di Enrico Serra ed è a lui dedicato. Con questo obiettivo Giovani nel Mondo, associazione no-profit creata per dare nuovi spazi ai giovani in Italia e nel mondo, organizza il RomeMun 2010, evento che si terra' a Roma da oggi fino al 4 marzo 2010. - 2010-03-03 Roma, 26 feb. - (Adnkronos) - "Giovani nel Mondo", l'associazione no-profit, creata per dare nuovi spazi ai giovani in Italia e nel mondo, organizza il RomeMun 2010, a Roma dall'1 al 4 marzo. I Mun (Model United Nations) sono degli experience-based programs realizzati al fine insegnare agli studenti e ai neolaureati il lavoro interno alle Nazioni Unite. I partecipanti rappresentano i paesi membri dell'Onu, in un gioco di simulazione diplomatica che riproduce il dibattito di una o piu' commissioni, come veri delegati.

Al RomeMun 2010, in cui verra' riprodotta l'assemblea generale dell'Onu, parteciperanno centinaia di ragazzi provenienti da tutto il mondo, accomunati dalla passione per le Organizzazioni Internazionali, i quali affronteranno il macro tema "Come i giovani e l'Onu possono cambiare il mondo".

Where and how to apply

All students enrolled in both Italian universities and foreign universities based in Italy have to fill in the application form online on at the website www.romemun.org.
They also have to pay a preliminary fee of € 15 in order to participate to the selection tests. All of them will receive for free the ISIC Card CTS.

RomeMUN applications are open to students regularly enrolled in:

Undergraduate study
Graduate study
PhD study

Students can pay the preliminary fee by credit transfer to Youth in the World (for account details please send an email to info@romemun.org), or by cash in: the offices of international relations based in their own universities, “Erasmus Student Network Italy” centres based in Italy, “Erasmus in Campus” centres in Rome, and all Italian “Foto Digital Discount “shops.

Selection procedure
Italian and foreign students based in Italy have to pass the selection tests in order to apply. Selections will take place in the Wall Street Institute centres from the middle of December until the end of January. (Each student can sustain the test in the closer WSI centre). Selection test consists of a motivational colloquium with English professors. On the day of the selection students can take the ISIC Card CTS.

Students actually enrolled in a foreign university may apply by filling the application form online and sending a CV (2 pages max) along with a brief letter of motivation to info@romemun.org.
The research committee is in charge of evaluating candidatures according to the guidelines established by the scientific committee.

Selected candidates will receive a letter of acceptance by email, they may confirm their own application by 7 days from the communication of acceptance, choosing between RomeMUN or RomeMUN plus formula.

Application procedure will be closed by the end of January 2010.
